The Summit of G-7 leaders, the group of the world’s “most industrialised economies”, was held in Germany this week. India, along with Indonesia and a few other countries, was a special invitee.

Last week, we discussed the BRICS summit of emerging economies, which was once seen as a complementary and now a potentially competitive grouping to the G-7. What both groups have in common is that their original agenda was driven by the economy.

These G-7, Davos etc. are not of much use in today's prevailing scenario. There is nothing to derive out of these meetings. Internet has made them of little use, but even than they have carnival🎊 values & that is ok.

USA and Europe are nothing but Imperialists, Aggressors, War-mongers, Destructors… For them, it's their way or no way. Now, the target is Russia. China, later. India, in future.

Need you to analyse and give your points about the G7 summit from Indias point of view and not be a sounding board for other writers, authors and the common summary of the G7 summitSomething original would be nice

India needs to stop being a western dependant. Russia and China will dominate economically and India would be wise to join them. western hegemony is destroying humanity, please don't help them India. This endless misery the west imposes on the world to maintain their dominance and control of other economies is a CRIMINAL PERSECUTION OF HUMANITY!

  21. Fazil says:

The G7 is about how we can maintain control of the world. The UK Foreign Minister just finished calling China a systematic risk then in the next breath asked it to enforce the ridiculous oil price cap that the other !dio+ Janet Yellen came up with. This club is essentially an Anglo-American one with a smattering of Western European vassals.
Where are they going to get the money to counter the Belt & Road initiative…These guys are delusional with respect to the rest of the world.

Ukraine 🇺🇦 war is part fashion in the west. It is horrible what is happening, and thought needs to be given on what the end will look like (Ukraine with all it's territories minus Crimea?).

  24. Dipankar Chatterjee says:

A very biased description of G7.

    1. G7 is a gathering of countries which practice democracy even though it’s not perfect
    2. G7 countries have the worlds most innovative companies. Mercedes Benz from Germany. Ferrari from Italy. Google and Microsoft from US. Apple from US.
    3. G7 countries provide a predictable democracy which practices rule of law. No sudden takeovers by despots.
    4. G7 countries are also the most visited countries and that’s for a reason. Nobody I know talks about trip to Moscow or Jeddah.
    5. G7 countries also provide religious freedom and also protect all citizens practicing different religions.

    G7 doesn’t happen by mistake.
