A Maryland woman went viral on TikTok after revealing she was ghosted by a person who flew her out to Miami but initially had “no idea why.”
The girl named Chandler, 30, said the person packed up his stuff while she was asleep in a hotel room they shared and left for good, the Every day Mail reported.
Chandler starts out the video, which has over 3 million views, explaining how the person told her a couple of sister he hadn’t seen shortly and was going to have lunch together with her.
“I used to be like, okay, cool, just don’t forget now we have these hard-to-get lunch reservations at 1:30 p.m. He’s like, ‘yeah, I’ll be back before that,’ ” she claims.
The TikToker said she thought nothing of it and went to the pool to kill a while while “absorbing some sun.”
“At 1:10 p.m., I used to be like ‘hey where are you, don’t ignore lunch.’ After which at 1:20 pm I said ‘where are you, like are you picking me up for lunch…?’ ” Chandler goes.
At that time, Chandler became frustrated but gave the person the good thing about doubt in case something truly did occur to him.
Chandler said she pushed back the reservation but claimed the person was a no-show for that as well, so she canceled all the pieces and went back to the hotel room for a nap.
“However it gets worse,” Chandler said.
Chandler said she had some friends in the realm and decided to go hang around with them as a substitute, but as she was about to prepare — the person’s stuff was no where to be found.
“I go searching and I look within the corner, I realize his stuff is just not there,” Chandler shockingly revealed.
The vid continues on, but then Chandler reveals screenshots — in considered one of many follow up videos — that showed the person eventually texted her back.
Chandler asked if he was “okay,” though all of the man said in response to her worries was “I’ll be advantageous.”
Still looking for clarity on all that’s happening, Chandler finally gets the reply she thought all along.
In one other follow-up — and with help from viewers — Chandler explains the person was living a secret life all along and had a wife and family.
Chandler said “one woman got here” out of the blue and messaged her to disclose the person was actually married and that she, too, had been ghosted by him.
The anonymous tipper also gave Chandler records and documents posted online showing the person’s name in addition to his supposed wife — who shares the identical last name as him — on a house they signed back in 2020.
Users on TikTok couldn’t get enough and flooded Chandler’s comment section in all related videos of the matter.
“You could have a responsibility to that woman. What she chooses to do with the knowledge is as much as her. But it is advisable tell her,” one person commented.
“Girl forget him! run up his tab and meet another person! his loss,” one user who wished vengeance on the person said in the primary vid Chandler posted.
Some even speculated what could’ve possibly happened to Chandler before she revealed the dirty truth.
“Yeah he’s married and realizes he’s in too deep. Bud got here to his senses,” a replier hinted.
“Not his sister…his wife. Surely this isn’t his first time and he or she nailed him,” one other said.
“He met someone else there and he might be in one other room together with her. Of the holiday is paid for just enjoy your free vacation girl,” a wild speculator replied.
