Their love is nice — their wedding was not.
A gluten- and dairy-free bride is being roasted online for sharing what she ate on her wedding day — all the way down to the anti-bloat pills that adorned each table on the celebration.
Sam Cutler, the creator of The Fit Fatale community, began her day with two green protein smoothies from Playa Bowls, some bites of her maid of honor’s grain salad, and a veggie platter before the festivities.
Throughout the cocktail hour, the bride snacked on oysters and plantain avocado bites before starting dinner with a chopped salad and gluten-free bread.
An intermezzo of ice and lemon was served before the salmon and veggie entree course.
Cutler placed Arrae bloat pills on the tables and gulped one down before taking a bite of her gluten-, dairy- and sugar-free chocolate cake.
The petite blonde also provided a sweets table stuffed with Unreal chocolates, that are low-sugar and allergen-free, and SmartSweets, low-sugar candies.
Later within the evening, Cutler and her hubby welcomed guests to enjoy a taco bar before heading home.
The newlyweds served Cote des Roses rosé, as Cutler noted its low sugar content, and Moët & Chandon because she knows she will be able to “feel good ” and “still enjoy herself” while drinking these beverages.
The videos quickly went viral this week with 4 million views on TikTok and over 3,000 likes on Instagram.
Cutler began her fitness and wellness journey about 4 years ago after suffering “a severe concussion and brain trauma from a fitness accident,” she explains on her site.
As she explored her own health and wellness, she began sharing tricks to encourage others to “find balance every day through a healthy lifestyle and stillness.”
The content creator described herself as a “health-focused bride,” but several commenters felt she was too extreme for her big day.
“Your wedding day it’s speculated to be enjoyable,” one TikToker wrote with a crying emoji.
“Bro ONE DAY IS OKAY,” one other exclaimed.
Others claimed Cutler’s wedding seemed “sad” and “insane.”
“Are you able to imagine going to a marriage and on the tables are anti-bloating gummies?! Byyyyeeeeeeeeee,” one TikToker mused.
One other also noted the bloat pills, writing that it made them “so upset.”
“Get better soon,” one mocked Cutler, insinuating that she was battling an eating disorder.
But some social media users defended her decisions, arguing that “she was eating and drinking pretty continuously throughout the day.”
“If she’s paying for an expensive wedding then she should eat what she will be able to eat and likes,” one other insisted.
The Post reached out to Cutler for comment.
Several TikTok commenters described it as an “almond” wedding — derived from the term “almond mothers.”
“Almond mom” has been coined by millennials and Gen Zers to explain moms who developed extremely restrictive eating habits throughout the diet-culture mania of the Nineteen Eighties and ‘90s and pushed these practices onto their children.
Cutler’s video and the wave of criticism come as individuals are attempting to grapple with and call out the rise of eating disorders and toxic weight-reduction plan culture.
One other bride recently went viral when she shared a video of her wedding party doing a morning dance workout to kickstart her big day.
The Utah bride captioned the TikTok, “I highly recommend!!”
Many commenters criticized the activity and described her big day as an “almond wedding.”
