A famous King Charles lookalike has revealed that he was once asked to star in an X-Rated movie because the monarch ahead of his upcoming coronation ceremony.
Guy Ingle, 63, divulged the strange request in an interview with Recent! Magazine, in accordance with The Mirror, as he reflected on a number of the weirdest work engagements he’s ever been asked to do.
“One time, I used to be asked to look in an X-rated film, much to my amusement,” Ingle told the outlet, per The Mirror.
“I laughed on the offer but politely declined.”
Ingle, who has been working within the entertainment industry for the reason that Nineties, expressed his admiration for the royals.
“I’ve at all times had a fantastic respect for the royals, so I’d never portray the king in a negative way,” he said.
The Post reached out to the royal family’s reps for comment.
Ingle has starred in other movies appearing as King Charles, including the 2008 hit “Superhero Movie” alongside the late Canadian actor, Leslie Nielsen.
“I used to be treated like a star on the market, limo trips and a five-star hotel to then be moved to an apartment in Beverly Hills,” he told Caters News Agency in regards to the experience, citing it as his “best.”
Ingle said that in his early years, he faced a number of rejections before he finally began to get some traction by doing royal impressions.
And although he was quite upset when Queen Elizabeth II passed away last September, Ingle told the news agency that his profession has never been busier as he was now not a “second-fiddle character.”
“The workload has quadrupled, but I never let myself get dragged into any inappropriate gigs as I’ve got far an excessive amount of respect for the royal family to achieve this,” Ingle said.
Being a royal impersonator takes labor. Ingle revealed within the Recent! Magazine interview that he has to do a number of research about King Charles — even studying his latest pictures and videos to be sure that he’s got the body language down.
He said that on the point of develop into the king is just like all other acting job and that it takes him 20 minutes to remodel into the monarch, complete with a nearly-$500 hairpiece.

But looks like Ingle higher gear up for this weekend, as King Charles’ coronation ceremony will likely be happening on Saturday, May 6 on the Westminster Abbey.
On the list of attendees includes King Charles’ son, Prince Harry, who has seemingly been at odds together with his family over the past few years.
He’ll attend the ceremony without his wife, Meghan Markle.
