What a BS piece. They buy property and fix it up , increasing its value. For this they get a good rental price. No one forces anyone to pay.

Unemployment keeps surging and bills wait for no one that’s why we have to figure new ways to make an income, I came here to learn how to trade after listening to a guy on radio talk about the importance of investing and how he made $210,000 in 4 months from $35k. Somehow this video has helped shed light on some things, but I'm confused, I'm a newbie and I'm open to ideas

Corporations are buying all the homes, squeezing renters into homelessness, then they will squeeze mortgage debtors into more home equity loans into foreclosure, then title home owners will get squeezed via insane insurance rates and property taxes until Wall Street and private equity owns it all. Renters are already screwed. You're next home 'owners'.

Private Equity Funds can borrow money with super cheap interest rates. With the massive amount of money, they keep buying houses and controlling rent

More reasons to live with your family, it saves you money and you still get to spend time with them ❤️❤️ and home cooked meals 🔥
Also this should be considered inhumane it’s hurting the lower and middle class ! It’s definitely a deliberate decision. They think people won’t notice they are ripping people off, all in the name of profit and capitalism. Makes me sick 🤮 disgusting humans.

This is absolutely not sustainable. Instead of Biden worrying about this stupid "Inflation Reduction Act" which we all know is bs, how about he focus on shutting these greedy private equity firms down. Absolutely no reason a 2 bedroom 1100 sq ft apartment should be $1700 dollars in IL. How is this sustainable? 3 years ago rent for a 2 bed 2 bath was $1300 at the most. Rent can raise but salaries cannot? Losing faith in the American economy

Rents are fair in most places. Reflects inflation. If inflation is close to 10% a year expect a 10% increase in rent. Some local areas are introducing a per person flat tax starting at $500 a year and addtional city income tax to pay for schools. Renters will start paying this

  45. Kishakiah says:

This is one reason for the decline in birth rate. So many can’t afford to have a kid. A lot of Americans are turning to alternative ways of living to include mobile homes.

I saw a sign a woman was holding in this video that said the following " Housing is a human right" Now i am not sure how she came to this result. But in my opinion housing is NOT a right rather a privilege for people who work for a living, it is the same for respecting another person, Respect has to be earned not just given out. Anyway thanks for taking the time to read my post good luck to all.

  48. Justin Fitzsimmons says:

They forgot to mention the artificial scarcity of housing and apartments .
But in many states this has become a problem and is causing the homeless population to explode at a rate not seen before. And these major banks and equity companies are the problem and really they are there to make money nothing else and if they can cut corners they will do it. And they cut costs in repair and maintenance which Is the cause of damage due to a outdated electrical system,or a outdated sewage system that has not seen repair or any kind of upkeep to have it in working condition. I don't see these equity firms being held accountable for the neglect and disrepair of these houses or apartments anytime soon.

If they keep going on with this rent hiking prices well they going to go and you might as well just put everybody in the streets

  50. Catherine Martinez says:

Where do you think these people will live cuz the country everywhere rent is bad where do you think these people are going to move why don't they just put everybody in the streets well they're going to put these people tell me what where are these people going to go that's it's the end of the line that's the end of the line when you're in the streets
