A group of centrists are gambling that millions of Americans are fed up with the country’s two-party system. So they’ve launched a third political party called “Forward.” Jason Johnson and Stuart Stevens discuss whether it has a realistic future.

Runoff elections for all federal offices ensures the validity of a multiparty system.
Forward, founded and paid for by the super PAC’s of the right wing 😂
Yay! A new corporate party with a new image!
This country is transitioning from a two party to a multi party system
Their commentary highlights one of the democrats’ biggest problems: no foresight.
Let's go Brandon! 3 party's at my 🏠 house.
I vote to let rabbits and gophers rule the world. Humans cant handle the job.
Andrew Yangs republican grifter party with no political agenda but wants you to donate then they'll tell you what it is.
I rather see Trump run as an Independent. He was an Independent once but imagine how many votes he would take from the republicans.
open then box!!!!
*the
Citizen united is the problem. Dark money in politics is the problem. Special interest and Super PACs are the problems.
Doesn't matter how many parties there are when all politicians are in corporations' pockets.
You can have another 10 parties and things will just get more complicated and convoluted but never solved.
I hope this party doesn’t take away too many votes and allow Trump to win. Many democrats voted for other candidates and not Hillary allowing Trump to win.
The US constitution makes this a no go. In Europe we elect parliaments that elects government. That is why we have so many coalitions. A third party in the US cannot align with another party to win. Yeah it sucks!
i love the idea. this will def split the democrat vote and guarantee red wave
Yay!!! A "status quo" party!!! Because things are so great right now that we shouldn't change a thing 🤡
Sounds like people who are afraid of the idea of a third party. " It's incredibly hard to start a third party". Since when does incredibly hard to stop Americans from doing anything? Their just afraid of loosing the power a parth had when there are only two.
I really agree with that last comment, it would not only be tragic, but catastrophic for American democracy.
Jo Jorgensen got over a million votes. if more people knew about her and her political party, more people would realize that they align with the gold party
When voting isn't, open, fair, and free. We are screwed. Integrity in voting is essential anywhere.
Lol at democrats telling us something won’t work while they themselves are an incompetent bunch.
I'm black moderate and I would love to become apart of this party, that way we don't have to be divided of democrat or republican
A third party is perfect for furthering governments ability to be dead locked and get paid for doing nothing while also being able to say we're trying.
Both partys are just a joke nothing gets done because one side does not agree!
Third Party system is such a great start to disrupt the the broken two party extremist political cults.
Ill vote Forward! Epecially if Yang is involved!
Dude says there isn't just only 2 parties, yet, if you try to vote for another party; you get bombarded with "stealing votes and you can't vote other than Dem or Rep" lol.
What drivel, neither side is nuancing the top three issues. Silence is golden and your guests are sold out too comfortable as well as MSNBC!!! That’s 3 strikes there…
This ended up w dem election win in the 90s? Sounds like well thought out dem strategy for gullible right wing to split vote again?
Let's hope its not a party of cult45 members.
As an independent who detests both parties, I would never support this party. The people creating it are not centrists.
