There have been chaotic scenes outside Dua Lipa’s gig in Sydney, Australia on Wednesday night after a ticketing app crash left tons of of fans shut outside the venue.
Throngs of individuals were seen lining up outside Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney’s Olympic Park after the Ticketek app stopped working, leaving revelers unable to prove that they had a ticket.
Fans were forced to dig through emails for confirmations, with security then manually checking every one.
The delays meant some Dua Lipa fans were still outside the world at 9 p.m (5 a.m. EST)- half-hour after the One Kiss star was on account of take the stage.
“That is disgusting. @Ticketek_AU has gone down and hundreds of individuals can’t get in to see @DUALIPA,” a fan called Daniel wrote on Twitter.
“What a disaster that is, the app doesn’t work and tickets will not be valid for many individuals,” one other wrote.
Dua Lipa eventually began her show after 9 p.m. (5 a.m. EST) and apologized to fans who had been kept waiting.
Dua Lipa has now played two gigs in Sydney and one in Brisbane as a part of her Future Nostalgia tour.
The Grammy-winner has two shows in Melbourne before performing in Adelaide and Perth.
