Game 2 of the ALDS between the Yankees and Guardians may have to attend.
The sport, scheduled for Thursday night, was postponed because of a poor weather forecast and might be made up Friday at 1:07 p.m. at Yankee Stadium.
The change signifies that while Nestor Cortes will still start Game 2, he won’t be available to start out Game 5, if it’s crucial, since there might be no more off days within the series.
After the teams play Friday on the Stadium, the series shifts to Cleveland for Games 3 and 4 on Saturday and Sunday and possibly back to The Bronx on Monday.
Tickets that were valid for Thursday’s Game 2 may be used for Friday’s makeup.
