He’s just not that into it.
Sarah Jessica Parker’s son admits he’s “running out of excuses” not to look at his mom on her iconic show “Sex and the City.”
James Wilkie Broderick, 20, did reveal Thursday that he tried to offer the series spinoff “And Just Like That…” a probability, but found it a bit “weird.”
“I attempted to look at the brand new [series], and I liked it, but then I felt weird because I haven’t watched the unique,” James explained to “Entertainment Tonight” while accompanying his dad and Parker’s husband, Matthew Broderick, to the 2023 Father of the 12 months Awards in NYC.
“It felt somewhat weird to be watching the newer one having not watched it, even when it’s accessible,” he added.
“Sex and the City” ran from 1998 to 2004.
Parker filmed Season 5 while pregnant with James, who was born in 2002.
Now that he’s older and on break from Brown University, James admits there’s really no reason why he hasn’t jumped on the Carrie Bradshaw bandwagon.
“I suppose it’s sort of obvious why perhaps I hadn’t watched the unique show as a child,” he laughed.
“I don’t really have an excuse. People ask like: ‘Oh, is that awkward for you? There’s like loads of [risqué] scenes.’ That’s not that big of a deal for me. I believe I just was somewhat too young before,” James claimed.
“I’m really running out of excuses.”
The Post has contacted Parker and Matthew for comment.
Parker, 58, and Matthew, 61, married in 1997.
They welcomed twin daughters, Tabitha Hodge and Marion Loretta Elwell — who’re days away from their 14th birthday — by surrogacy in 2009.
James still has time to get into “AJLT,” as Season 2 premieres June 22 on Max.
Kim Cattrall, 66, will make a transient appearance as Samantha Jones this season, The Post exclusively revealed last month.
Sources near the show claim Cattrall avoided her former co-stars, including Parker — her longtime nemesis — while filming her cameo.
“SATC” star Cynthia Nixon, 57, recently revealed the unique forged was “walking on eggshells” around Cattrall.
“All of us love one another, we love our show, we desired to do more of it. And all of us desired to be there. In order that makes an infinite difference,” Nixon added of the spinoff’s forged.
