Usher has been named a 2024 Super Bowl halftime performer.
“USHER. LAS VEGAS. APPLE MUSIC HALFTIME SHOW. #SBLVIII See you on February 11 on @NFLonCBS!” the NFL tweeted Sunday on X.
Within the tweet, the league included a video of Usher, 44, checking out he got the gig, using clips from his “Confessions Part II” music video in 2004.
Additionally they included Kim Kardashian in one in all the promo videos, where she is is seen getting glam, telling Usher, “You’re playing the Apple Music half time show in Vegas.”
“It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything they’ve seen from me before,” the “DJ Got Us Fallin’ in Love” said.
“Thanks to the fans and everybody who made this chance occur. I’ll see you real soon.”
The sport takes place Feb. 11, 2024 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Usher follows Rihanna, who headlined the 2023 halftime show.
Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Eminem and 50 Cent performed in 2022.
