It was a Swift exorcism of the movie show.
Producers of the upcoming film “The Exorcist: Believer” announced on X (formerly Twitter) Thursday they’ll release the horror flick every week early to avoid competing with Taylor Swift’s “Eras” Tour film.
While each were scheduled to drop nationwide on Oct. 13, horror mega-producer Jason Blum decided to maneuver up the film’s release to avoid any “Bad Blood” with Swift.
“Look what you made me do,” tweeted Blum, 54, referencing one in every of Swift’s hits. “The Exorcist: Believer moves to 10/6/23.”
The Post reached out to Blum and Swift, 33, for comment.
Swift managed to refill the “Blank Space” of AMC marquees Thursday when she announced her concert film will open in cinemas across the US.
“The Eras Tour has been essentially the most meaningful, electric experience of my life to date and I’m overjoyed to let you know that it’ll be coming to the large screen soon,” wrote the “Lavender Haze” singer on X.
Swift beneficial fans embrace her “Style,” as “Eras attire, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing” might be “encouraged” at cinemas.
Per the film announcement, the 2-hour and 45-minute film might be played 4 times a day, on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, at every AMC location within the US.
Several online fans were quick to dub the second “Cruel Summer” lineup — of “Eras” and “The Exorcist” — as #Exorswift.
“Move over #Barbenheimer, here comes #Exorswift,” one fan wrote, referring to the summer’s “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer” double feature trend.
“I don’t learn about you, but I feel like possessing youuuuuuuuuu,” a second fan quipped.
Other denizens of X weren’t so “Enchanted” by the pairing.
“I can’t wait to miss it,” snapped one enthused fan.
“Doesn’t matter, not gonna sit through one other DGG disaster class at any time when it’s released,” slammed one other, referencing “Exorcist” filmmaker David Gordon Green.
“The Exorcist: Believer” stars Broadway’s Leslie Odom Jr. and Ellen Burstyn, who appeared in the unique film.
The brand new one is about 50 years after the events of the 1973 movie.
Meanwhile, Swift’s tour — which began a bit off-key because of a Ticketmaster debacle — is projected to bring in a staggering $1 billion in ticket sales, which might make it the highest-grossing tour ever.
Ending its US “Love Story” in August, “Eras” is making its method to Argentina in November.
The US just isn’t “Out of the Woods” yet — Swift is anticipated to return here in October 2024.
