Welcome to the “ScarEras Tour.”
Katelyn McLaughlin of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, goes viral on TikTok for her Taylor Swift-inspired Halloween lawn decor that has Swifties forgetting all about their “Cruel Summer.”
McLaughlin, 36, told Fox News Digital that she was inclined to assemble the show-stopping skeleton spectacle after attending Swift’s “Eras Tour” in June.
On the show, several of Swift’s dancers wore memorable outfits made famous by the “Shake It Off” singer — inside large glass boxes.
This sent McLaughlin on a mission to collect plastic skeletons and create similar costumes.
“I couldn’t stop fascinated about how good of an idea it was, and I began obsessing watching the videos from the show to determine which outfits were within the cases,” McLaughlin told Fox, adding that her kids, husband, and a friend helped bring her vision to life, err, death.
“Working on all the [clothing] pieces that were going to be on these skeletons was a creative outlet for me along with being in love with Taylor Swift. It was quite a lot of fun.”
The set-up — complete with lights that blink to the beat of Swift’s biggest hits — is a large hit on TikTok, with 1.3 million views this month.
“Where am I traveling to see this masterpiece????” one Swiftie asked.
“John Mayer’s house,” one other joked, referencing one in every of Swift’s infamous exes.
“Urrrrmmm can I borrow the skeletons ‘Popularity’ outfit,” one other wondered.
The daring display can be appreciated by McLaughlin’s neighbors.
“I even have met so many individuals. I even have made friendship bracelets and handed them to individuals who stop by,” McLaughlin said of trading bracelets, which is customary amongst Swifties.
While she understands that Travis Kelce’s recent boo is “super busy,” she hopes that Swift, 33, will probably be “Enchanted” by her viral work.
“I at all times joke that if she responded, I’d lay down and pass away,” McLaughlin laughed.
