When Taylor Swift was awarded her two trophies on the 2024 Grammys on Sunday night, she didn’t include a nod to boyfriend Travis Kelce in her acceptance speeches.
Upon taking the stage twice contained in the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Swift – who scored six nominations, and won Album of the Yr for 2022’s “Midnights” and Best Pop Vocal — didn’t mention the Chiefs tight end, who’s preparing to face the 49ers in Super Bowl 2024 next Sunday in Las Vegas.
Her Album of the Yr win was a historic one as she became the primary artist to take home the distinction 4 times.
“It makes me unbelievably blown away that it makes some people completely happy who voted for this award, too,” Swift said during her acceptance speech. “All I need to do is keep doing this.”
Swift also announced her latest album “The Tourtured Poets Department can be out on April 19.
“I’d like to let you know that that is the most effective moment in my life,” Swift said after winning the night’s final award. “But I feel this completely happy after I finished a song or after I cracked the code to a bridge that I like or after I’m shortlisting a music video or after I’m rehearsing with my dancers or my band or on the point of go to Tokyo to play a show. For me, the award is the work.”
Swift, 34, supported Kelce, also 34, last weekend in Baltimore, where the Chiefs defeated the Ravens, 17-10, within the AFC Championship game.
Kelce landed together with the Chiefs in Las Vegas on Sunday.
