Experts believe that some models of these cars typically lack an essential security feature, making it easier for them to steal. But there are steps you can take to keep your vehicle safe.

I'm not advocating any of this saying the thieves stealing cars anywhere is ever a good idea.
Automakers have to take 100% of the blame for having an easy defeat to get the cars started.
Second, automakers and Americans need to take blame for the fact that most vehicles in the U.S. are automatic transmission.
If people in the U.S. got back to driving manual transmissions like the rest of the Eastern Hemisphere culture does, there would probably less stealing of cars.
That being said, the clowns across the country stealing cars clearly come from broken homes with single parents (mothers specifically) raising kids and teenagers with no father around in their life and furthermore, they're hanging with the wrong crowds at school and/or in their neighborhood(s) getting into the wrong things and now is putting a target on their backs or chests living with the mentality that they have a death wish and don't care what happens to them.
Strange that Canada has exact same models without immobilizers and yet they don't have this issue. Could be just could be a certain demographics in the United States ? 🍌🍌🍌🍌🐒🐒🐒🐒🐒
