Several onlookers reportedly witnessed brilliant unexplained lights dart across skies in rural Wisconsin — leaving some to query whether the illuminations were unidentified flying objects.
Footage obtained by the Day by day Mail shows a white glow travel quickly across the night sky over farmland near West Bend and Fredonia within the Badger State. Videos taken earlier this month captured the odd spectacle from different locations, the outlet reported, citing the video metadata.
Kimberly, one in every of the individuals who took the footage, told the Day by day Mail she was driving home together with her husband around 10:45 p.m. on Dec. 1 in West Bend when “swiftly we saw what a white owl swoop from the upper right-hand top of the trees, down in front of the headlights, and as much as the left.”
She and her husband decided it wasn’t an owl after the illuminating object swooped in front of them one other thrice, though they’re unsure what they saw, in accordance with the Day by day Mail. The couple then reportedly saw white lights within the sky above them that were silent.
“And as we’re each leaning forward into the windshield, we start seeing these lights, just like what I caught within the video,” she reportedly said.
“We just couldn’t wrap our heads around what we were seeing.”
Meanwhile, Ken began to capture the moment from his home in Fredonia, which is five miles from Kimberly’s location, the Day by day Mail reported. Neither wanted to offer their last names to the Day by day Mail.
The videos show 4 lights appearing before a fifth light flies in to affix them, the outlet said. Then all five lights depart toward the horizon.
The weather the night the videos were shot was cloudy, but with no storms or thunder and lightning, the Day by day Mail reported.
The publication cited other individuals who posted videos on social media around the identical time and area as Kimberly and Ken.
Andrea Lynn reportedly shot 4 videos of multicolored lights stepping into circles and moving across the sky at a fast pace earlier that night. Considered one of the videos apparently shows a single white light appear after which three additional lights flash in a triangular shape around it before they disappeared followed by the central light also vanishing.
The subsequent day Chris Nowak told the Day by day Mail he and his family saw strange lights within the cloudy evening sky as they were driving and eventually began filming.
“I’ve really never seen anything prefer it before,” he reportedly said. “It was like a row of illumination through the clouds and it will pulse through the sky incredibly quickly.”
He doesn’t imagine it was searchlights.
In Michigan, one other video shot by social media users Kenna and Tasha Lynn VanBrocklyn on Dec. 2 shows brilliant white lights erratically moving across the clouds, the Day by day Mail reported. The pair wrote on Facebook they thought it is likely to be a UFO.
Former FBI agent Ben Hansen, who also hosts Discovery+ show “UFO Witness,” told the Day by day Mail most UFO sightings are actually reported as “light anomalies” that don’t have traditional shapes like cylinders and disks.
“Once you consider the totality of the circumstances of what was witnessed and where it was filmed, this case just becomes increasingly compelling,” Hansen reportedly said of three of recent Wisconsin cases.
