This rumor is dead within the water.
“Deadpool 3” director Shawn Levy has finally responded to recent chatter that Taylor Swift, 33, could make an appearance in his superhero sequel.
The superhero flick, starring Ryan Reynolds, 46, because the titular character, is some of the anticipated upcoming movies from the Marvel Cinematic Universe due to it’s inclusion of Hugh Jackman, 54, because the beloved Wolverine.
However the film, which is being produced by Marvel Studios and Maximum Effort, is getting much more attention as a consequence of rumors that Swift, arguably certainly one of the most important superstars currently on the planet, could also be joining the forged as well.
Fans have been speculating that the “Karma” singer may make a cameo because the superhero Dazzler. Also generally known as Alison Blaire, she’s a Human Mutant with the power to convert sound into light, and energy.

“I’m going across the board. ‘No comment’ because that’s a double whammy,” Levy explained in an interview with The Wrap. “That’s Taylor-related. And it’s MCU-related. I’m no dummy. You’re going to need to wait and see.”
Rumors could have reached a fever’s pitch after Levy, Jackman, Reynolds and Swift were all photographed together watching the Kansas City Chiefs and Latest York Jets play on the MetLife Stadium in Latest Jersey on Oct. 1.
“It’s almost depressing by the best way,” the Canadian film producer told Variety of the spectacle. “I could make 50 more hit movies and shows and I’ll still be generally known as the guy within the orange suede jacket going to the Chiefs-Jets game with Taylor and others.”
While “Deadpool 3” is scheduled to release in theaters on May 3, 2024, the continuing SAG-AFTRA strike, may cause a delay.
“I don’t even know if we officially have [a release date]. I do know we were gonna be May 3,” Levy to Thhe Wrap. “Actually, the actors’ strike and the long pause in production have put that release date in true risk. We’ve shot half the movie. I’ve edited half the movie. We’re dying to get back to work and get this movie out next yr.”
