Motherhood is the trip of a lifetime for Rihanna.
The 34-year-old “Lift Me Up” singer compared taking good care of her newborn son, whom she shares along with her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, to an out-of-body experience.
“Life starts over while you change into a parent. It’s life that you just’ve never known before,” she told Access Hollywood on the premiere of her “Savage x Fenty Show Vol. 4” lingerie show.
“The start is such as you’re tripping acid each day. It’s wild, trippy as hell,” she added.
“You have a look at him and he’s yours, but he’s a stranger and also you’re learning him as he’s learning you and learning the world. When he looks at me in my eyes, my whole soul … I can’t tell if it’s cold or hot,” she described the sensation.
Rihanna and A$AP announced they were expecting their first child in January in an epic Harlem photoshoot. Their son was born in May, however the artists have been hush-hush on his name.
While Rihanna could also be in baby bliss, she’s not delivering a latest album as many fans suspected she would when she announced she’s going to headline the Super Bowl halftime show in February.
“Super Bowl is one thing. Recent music is one other thing. Do you hear that, fans?” Rihanna laughed while speaking with the Associated Press.
“The second that I announced this, I said, ‘Oh, my God, they’re going to think my album is coming.’ I would like to get to work,” she added.
The Post reached out to reps for Rihanna for comment on her acid comparison.
