The market could be as quiet as a mouse, however the mouse roared on the Real Estate Board of Recent York’s 127th annual awards gala at the Glasshouse event space on Thursday night.
Unlike ultimately 12 months’s gala, when guests grumbled that the brand new walk-around format felt like a routine cocktail party, table seating — and a sometimes raucous soundtrack that included rap — put the thrill back.
Mayor Eric Adams joined greater than 1,000 real estate luminaries on the schmooze-fest which featured a two-course dinner by Gramercy Tavern chef Michael Anthony and Daniel Boulud.
The Real Estate Board of Recent York held its 127th annual awards gala on Thursday night.
The Glasshouse’s windows and terrace afforded views of tower-top lightings of the Empire State Constructing and One World Trade Center in REBNY red. The evening’s honorees included Newmark CEO Barry Gosin, CBRE tristate CEO Mary Ann Tighe and Cushman & Wakefield tristate chairman John C. Santora.
A portion of proceeds will go to the REBNY Foundation, which supports and funds social impact initiatives in Recent York City.
