A family that slices together, stays together.
Quadruplet brothers from Latest Jersey opened a Jersey Mike’s sandwich shop last week after starting with the corporate once they were all in highschool, in line with NJBiz.com.
The Ballard boys — 25-year-old Erich, Sam, Tom and Nick — are all equal owners of the placement in Hainesport, in line with NJ.com. Eric is the oldest “by one minute,” he told the outlet.
Sam, Tom and Nick began working on the shop of their hometown of Middletown in 2012, and Erich followed suit two years later.
They’ve two other siblings, who’re also connected to the sandwich business.
Brother Patrick currently helps out at their store, while older sister, Nichole, was the primary to work on the Middletown shop back in 2005.
“After we began, it was (pour) drinks, take the trash out, open meats,” Sam told NJ.com. “We couldn’t slice tomatoes because we weren’t sufficiently old to slice. After we turned 18, Nichole taught us the best way to slice.”

Even of their teenage years, the quads dreamt of opening a store with one another, and their vision became “serious” through the COVID-19 pandemic. They began working with the corporate’s corporate office to open the Hainesport store, which previously was a frozen yogurt shop and Subway.
In the primary five days, their store sold roughly 5,000 subs and 300 cheesesteaks.
“The amount exceeded our expectations,” Erich said.
