While Harry insisted he never “blindsided” his grandmother with a shock announcement he and Meghan were going to go away the royals and move to Canada, he insisted that what followed felt like an attack on him.
“It was terrifying to have my brother scream and shout at me, and my father saying things that just simply weren’t true, and my grandmother quietly sit there and type of take all of it in,” he said within the show.

Harry recalled how on the identical day because the “Sandringham Summit” — where the alleged screaming took place — “a story got here out saying that a part of the explanation why Meghan and I were leaving was because William had bullied us out.”
“Once I got within the automobile after the meeting, I used to be told a couple of joint statement which were put up in my name and my brother’s name squashing the story about him bullying us out of the family.”
“I couldn’t imagine it. Nobody had asked me permission to place my name to a press release like that,” he seethed, strongly suggesting he wouldn’t have made such a denial.
He then rang Meghan — who was in Canada on the time and burst into “floods of tears” while on the phone.
“Inside 4 hours, they were blissful to misinform protect my brother — and yet for 3 years they were never willing to inform the reality to guard us,” Harry complained.
