Prince Harry has sensationally refused to commit to attending his father’s historic coronation in May.
In a second trailer of his upcoming bombshell interview with ITV’s Tom Bradby, the Duke of Sussex said “there’s loads to be discussed” before he could make that call.
“There’s loads that may occur between from time to time,” Harry said. “But, the door is all the time open. The ball is of their court.”
“There’s loads to be discussed and I actually hope that they’re willing to take a seat down and speak about it,” he added.
When asked about his brother’s response to his constant — and high-profile — bashing of the firm since quitting royal duties in 2020, Harry responded, “He’d probably say all varieties of various things.”
Elsewhere within the clip, Harry insisted those accusing him of invading his family’s privacy by releasing the book simply “don’t understand or don’t need to imagine” the press was briefed by the royals.
“I don’t know that staying silent is ever going to make things higher,” he added.
When asked if he still believes within the monarchy, Harry said, “Yes,” before saying he “doesn’t know” if he’ll play a component within the monarchy’s future.
The clip was shared hours after The Guardian published an extract from Harry’s upcoming memoir “Spare” by which he alleges that he was left battered and bruised when Prince William tossed him to the ground in a bitter fight two months before he and Meghan Markle left the royal family.
The now-Prince of Wales desired to speak along with his brother about “the entire rolling catastrophe” of their relationship and struggles with the press, which he pointedly blamed on his brother’s recent wife Markle, Harry wrote within the memoir to be released Jan. 10.
William reportedly called Markle “difficult,” “rude” and “abrasive,” and Harry fired back that he was only parroting the negative “press narrative” the couple has extensively spoken out against in recent times.
The brothers continued shouting at each other — with William remaining stubbornly irrational — until Harry accused his older brother of acting like an heir and never understanding why his younger sibling was not content with being a spare, Harry said.
“He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the ground,” the Duke of Sussex wrote. “I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out.”
Harry eventually told Markle in regards to the alleged assault after she found the “scrapes and bruises” on his back.
The previous actress “wasn’t that surprised” that William allegedly laid his hands on his brother, but was “terribly sad,” he wrote.
The couple announced they were splitting from the royal family just two months later.
