A 29-year-old man was allegedly caught lurking outside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s California mansion in the course of the night on Monday.
Kevin Garcia Valdovinos, 29, was arrested and later booked on misdemeanor stalking charges when the royal couple’s security team noticed the person near the Montecito property around 2 a.m., based on TMZ.
There’s no indication if Prince Harry, Markle, or either of their two children — Archie, 4, or Lilibet, 1, — were home on the time of the arrest.
Markle was in Latest York City on Tuesday evening alongside Harry and her mother Doria for the Ms. Foundation awards ceremony as she received the 2023 Women of Vision Award “for her global advocacy to empower and advocate on behalf of girls and girls.”
Valdovinos was released on $2,500 bail, based on the outlet.
The Post has reached out to the Santa Barbara Police Department.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex purchased the lavish 18,000-square-foot home, which rests on 5.4 acres, for $14.5 million in 2020.
It marks the second time the royal couple was targeted by a possible intruder.
In 2020, Ohio man Nickolas Brooks, 37, was caught trespassing on the property Christmas Eve and issued a warning.
Brooks was cited for misdemeanor trespassing when he returned to the house two days later, but his motive was unclear.
“I don’t know why I went to their place, that’s type of where I ended up. I drove across the country — I understand it’s crazy,” Brooks told The Sun in March 2021.
“I’ve been told to remain away and that I’m never allowed back there but I don’t must appear in court. I used to be in jail for an evening and so they told me to remain away in future.”
