This winner could also be having fun with his Mai Tai on the beach together with his arm in a sling.
A contestant on “The Price is Right” was so enthusiastic about winning big on the sport show that he dislocated his shoulder while vigorously pumping his fist into the air while celebrating.
The enduring game show’s Instagram account posted a video of contestant Henry celebrating, unable to contain his excitement after solving the ultimate puzzle.
The clip then cuts to the show’s host Drew Carey explaining that Henry wouldn’t have the option to spin the wheel attributable to him popping his shoulder out of his socket — and bringing out the contestant’s wife, Alice, to do the distinction for him.
“Henry was celebrating and going ‘Woo,’ and he dislocated his shoulder,” Carey said. “So, he’s not going to have the option to spin the wheel, but Alice goes to spin the wheel for him.”
As if it was fate, Alice spun and secured a 95 for her husband — sending him to the Showcase Showdown — this time with him celebrating together with his one good arm as his wife jumped for joy.
“Watch out,” Carey joked to Alice.
Henry cruised through the Showcase Showdown — securing a tropical vacation in Hawaii.
“He won a visit to Hawaii and the ER #PriceIsRight,” the Instagram post caption read. “Henry is feeling higher and all healed now.”
Henry isn’t the primary player to endure an injury while competing on the beloved game show.
A contestant named Judy twisted her ankle while spinning the wheel in 2014 — having to play the Showcase Showdown on crutches.
“The Price is Right” debuted on ABC in 1972 and was hosted by Bob Barker — who was the longest-running game show host in America until his retirement in 2007.
The show is in its 51st season and has aired over 9,000 episodes.
Carey took over duties as host following Barker’s retirement.
Though now not hosting, Barker, who will turn 100 in December, has made guest appearances on his old turf — together with his most up-to-date cameo being on the April Fools’ Day episode in 2015.
