Patrick Mahomes Sr. was driving with an open 16-ounce Coors beer in the middle console when he was stopped by police and arrested for driving while intoxicated, in line with an affidavit obtained by The Post.
Mahomes, whose son will quarterback the Chiefs against the 49ers in Super Bowl 2024 on Sunday, told police that he “had just a few beers while watching a game at an area bar” in Smith County in Texas.
It was the third DWI for Mahomes, a former MLB pitcher who frolicked with the Mets.
It is a developing story; check back for updates.
