He’s putting the “I” in “retirement” a bit of early.
Pat Sajak took a load off by taking in an Air Supply concert Wednesday in Hawaii — someday after Ryan Seacrest was named his successor.
A clip of the “Wheel of Fortune” host, 76, clapping along to the soft rock group on the Blue Note jazz club in Honolulu was obtained by TMZ.
Sajak donned a shiny blue and purple button-down as he sat within the front row along with his daughter, Maggie, who’s a social correspondent for “Wheel.”
The ’80s band played for a small, but exuberant crowd, though Sajak was spotted looking a bit of bored by the top of the night. He was using his phone and picking his fingernails within the video.
The Chicago native revealed this month he’ll step away from “Wheel” after greater than 40 years. He joined the show in 1981.
“Well, the time has come. I’ve decided that our forty first season, which begins in September, might be my last,” he tweeted on June 12.
“It’s been a beautiful ride, and I’ll have more to say in the approaching months. Many because of you all. (If nothing else, it’ll keep the clickbait sites busy!)” he added.
Seacrest was announced Tuesday as the brand new host, sparking some outrage over the casting.
The longtime TV personality, 48, may also function a consulting producer on the show.
“I’m truly humbled to be moving into the footsteps of the legendary Pat Sajak,” Seacrest noted in an announcement.
Some social media users trolled Seacrest for taking over one other job.
He has hosted several TV and radio programs including “American Idol,” “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” and “Live with Kelly and Ryan” lately.
Just a few people even insisted that Sajak’s sidekick and letter turner Vanna White, 66, must have been named the brand new “Wheel” host.
“Should’ve moved Vanna White to host and had Ryan Seacrest turning letters. Prove me improper,” an individual jeered.
“Unsuitable selection. Not fair to @TheVannaWhite,” one fan argued.
“I like Ryan, but he’s had loads of hosting gigs before. I used to be hoping they’d give anyone else a likelihood,” one other stated.
Sajak broke his silence on the Seacrest news Wednesday, saying that he’s “looking forward to my final season” and “handing over the automotive keys to Ryan Seacrest” in September 2024.
