A team member for actress Laura Linney was allegedly assaulted by an autograph seeker who tried to aggressively push his way into the star’s personal space.
The 59-year-old “Ozark” actress was accompanied by team members while she left the Christian Siriano Fashion Show on the Pierre Hotel in Recent York City on Friday, TMZ reported.
In a TikTok video showing the assault, Linney was soon mobbed by fans and paparazzi outside the star-studded event before the physical confrontation.
As Linney waited for her automotive to reach, a big man with a pen and paper in hand approached from behind seemingly to get an autograph from “The Truman Show.”
Her alleged team member attempted to dam the person from getting too near the star.
“Don’t f–king touch me,” the autograph hound will be heard saying within the clip, shoving him out of the best way.
“Hey! Hey! No,” said the team member as he selflessly put his body between the star and the autograph hound.
“You don’t try this,” he added.
The team member claimed within the video that he “didn’t touch” the person.
Linney’s team member was then punched behind the top in a blindsided attack because the autograph hound retreated, glaring back and muttering angrily.
Concerned for the employee, the startled Linney quickly consoles him, asking if he’s “okay.”
The autograph seeker then turns back to Linney and her team on the hotel entrance and shouts, “Don’t f–king touch me” again before storming off.
Taking the hit like a champ, the team member shrugged off the blow and reassured Linney that he was “wonderful” while cracking a smile in disbelief before they got of their automotive and left.
The NYPD told The Post that no reports were filed from the hotel regarding the incident.
The Post has contacted Linney’s team for comment on the unprovoked attack.
Linney was on the town as a part of NYC Fashion Week, together with a whole lot of high-profile celebrities embarking on the festivities around the town.
“The Big C” actress was seen sitting with Janet Jackson, Alicia Silverstone, Avril Lavigne, Kesha, and Quinta Brunson on the Christian Siriano runway show prior to the attack on her team member.
The Siriano’s event began an hour behind schedule, but most in attendance didn’t appear to mind from the look of the cheerful atmosphere.
