Lights, camera, motion!
Meghan Markle may soon make an onscreen comeback with some high hopes after diving into talks with some “big-name directors and producers,” in response to a report.
The Duchess of Sussex, whose first uncredited acting role in “Married… with Children” recently resurfaced on social media, is reportedly trying to proceed constructing her acting portfolio with some big projects.
“Suits is such a success in reruns that Meghan’s being told there’s a requirement from fans to see her act again,” a source told Life & Style Magazine.
“She’s excited. While she’d like to land a latest TV part, Meghan really desires to sink her teeth right into a dramatic film role. She thinks an Oscar could be in her future.”
The exiled royal, whose most notable– and final — role of her profession was paralegal Rachel Zane on the hit show “Suits,” in April signed with WME CEO Ari Emanuel and his team.
And while she hasn’t immersed herself in any acting roles just yet, the outlet reports she’s being flooded with offers.
“She’d gotten a bunch of offers over the past five years, but turned them down because she really was attempting to embrace royal life and, later, forge a latest path behind the scenes in Hollywood with Harry,” an insider told the outlet.
“But now that’s all modified. With other opportunities drying up, she’s actively on the lookout for roles and talking to some big-name directors and producers. Harry is 100% supportive of all of it. Acting is what Meghan knows and what she’s all the time loved.”
What’s more, a source claims that the mom of two herself thinks she’d be a key asset to any onscreen project.
“She says he could be a great actor. But Harry believes he’d be ridiculed for it, so it’s unlikely he’d co-star in something with Meghan. You never know what the longer term holds though. He might do it sooner or later.”
The Post has reached out to Markle’s reps for comment.
Since signing earlier this yr, Markle has reportedly been “immersed” in meetings with Emanuel about an acting comeback.
Her team on a day-to-day basis can be Serena Williams’ agent Jill Smoller and Brad Slater, a behemoth within the movie business, who reps Dwayne Johnson, Page Six previously reported.
An industry insider acquainted with the WME deal added, “This is certainly not a move back into acting, Meghan is exceptionally ambitious. The deal is for her for film and TV production, brand partnerships and endorsements.”
“Each Meghan and Harry have said they need purpose-focused deals for his or her charities, but she is on the lookout for big Hollywood projects,” a source added.
WME represents the highest talent across the industry including writers, filmmakers, actors, producers, stylists, fashion designers and their agents.
The corporate also handles brand licensing, speaking engagements, media production and events, including Latest York Fashion Week.
