Isn’t it time to drop the name “Meatpacking District?” The once unsavory neighborhood is now home to hotels, high-end restaurants and increasingly to luxury fashion boutiques. The newest arrivals are luxury clothing brands Maje and Sandro, which signed retail leases at Aurora Capital Associates’ 405 W. thirteenth St. Each store could have about 2,500 square feet on the bottom and a couple of,100 sf on a lower level.
The stores are to open early next yr.
