The strike that left 4 NYC hospitals scrambling for coverage after 7,000 nurses walked off the job has ended, one among the hospitals said early Thursday morning.
“The strike is over and we have now an agreement,” Mount Sinai Health System tweeted.
The strike began Monday, with tons of of healthcare professionals seen picketing outside Mount Sinai in Manhattan.
A travel nurse working on the hospital because of this of the strike told The Post exclusively that the strike had crippled the hospital as skeleton crews juggled an amazing workload.
“God, it’s not like they’re saying it’s — it’s worse,’’ she said.
The strike began at 1 a.m. Monday morning at Mount Sinai’s predominant campus on the Upper East Side and at three locations of Montefiore Medical Center within the Bronx. Other hospitals in town had recently reached tentative pacts with their nurses, who’re repped by the identical union.
