Kevin Costner, 68, is to pay ex-wife Christine Baumgartner, 49, $129,755 per 30 days in child support, in line with a tentative ruling set Tuesday that was seen by The Post.
The couple will probably be required to every pay 50% of their children’s private school tuition, extracurricular activities and unreimbursed health care expenses under the interim ruling made by Judge Thomas Anderle.
Nonetheless, per TMZ, the kid support order is temporary and there will probably be a full hearing over the following few months, which suggests that the monetary amount is subject to vary.
In early May, the couple filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences” — but it surely has quickly turned ugly, with a battle over their Santa Barbara, California, home and claims of lavish spending.
Last month, Baumgartner requested $248,000 in child support from her estranged hubby, so it looks like she’ll be getting a bit over half of that number.
On the time, she also asked that Costner cover your complete cost of the kids’s private school tuition, extracurricular activities and health care, per People.
The couple has three kids: Cayden, 16; Hayes, 14; and Grace, 13.
The “Yellowstone” actor may even be required to pay $200,000 in attorney’s fees and $100,000 in forensic costs before Aug. 1, per the tentative ruling.
The Post reached out to representatives for Costner and Baumgartner for comment.
Last week, TMZ reported that Costner initially offered $51,940 in child support per 30 days, which Baumgartner called “completely inappropriate.”
The couple filed for joint custody of their three children within the divorce, with a hearing set for July 12, reported “Entertainment Tonight.”
When Costner and Baumgartner first filed for divorce, a representative for Costner told The Post: “It’s with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to take part in a dissolution of marriage motion.
“We ask that his, Christine’s and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time,” the rep added.
The “Waterworld” actor previously married actress Cindy Silva, now 66, in 1978, and so they had three children together: Annie, now 39, Lily, 36, and Joe, 35, and divorced in 1994.
He also has a son, Liam, now 27, with actress Bridget Rooney, 61.
