Complete with backup singers, the “Stronger” muse gave fans a small taste of her tenth studio album by performing songs reminiscent of “Favorite Sort of High” and “Me.”
Arjun Rai, a tech guru, said that he was in the midst of a piece meeting when the “Since U Been Gone” singer strode up and burst out singing.
“@kellyclarkson During My Meetings in LA raising capital for my startup @SelfTact / @WoofyHQ. Shooosh,” tweeted the CEO.
Following the performance, Rai said she went as much as the money register and ordered a vanilla latte.
One other person made a TikTok of the singer which was viewed 159,000 times.
“When @kellyclarkson does a surprise serenade at lunch!!! Glad I got Sweetgreen today,” laughed the user.
The songstress’ recent album — out June 23 — covers her seven-year marriage to Brandon Blackstock.
Clarkson claims the music within the album is “definitely very honest” and that a number of the tracks written within the immediate aftermath of her very public divorce were “too truth-telling” to make the finished product.
“I do know people will hear this record and be like, ‘Oh, rattling, she went there,’” Clarkson said to the outlet. “And I’m like, ‘No, I promise you I didn’t.’”
Her upcoming album shouldn’t be the one major news for Clarkson.
In accordance with the singer, she plans to maneuver “The Kelly Clarkson Show” from Los Angeles to Latest York so she and her family can get a “fresh start.”
“Covid identified [that] being isolated and up to now from your loved ones… that’s not good for anyone,” said the “Breakaway” songstress while appearing on Nancy O’Dell’s “TalkShopLive”. “And my family is East Coast, they’re North Carolina-based.”
The news of the move got here after a report from Rolling Stone revealed that several of the singer’s staffers were left “traumatized” after working with a certain producer on the show.
“In my 20 years within the entertainment industry, I’ve all the time led with my heart and what I believed to be right,” she wrote in a post shared on Instagram. “I like my team at ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show,’ and to search out out that anyone is feeling unheard and or disrespected on this show is unacceptable.”
