There’s no bad blood between Jamie Lynn Spears and Britney Spears — at the very least in line with the “Zoey 101” star.
Jamie Lynn, 32, spoke about growing up along with her “Toxic”-singing sister Saturday on the British reality show “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.”
TV presenter Fred Sirieix asked Jamie Lynn to reminisce on Britney’s infamous kiss with Madonna on the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards.
“They simply did it. I used to be at home watching like, ‘Oh OK, this can be fun tomorrow in school, can’t wait,’” Jamie Lynn recalled.
“And so literally I just thought — and, by the way in which, in today’s world it might mean nothing — however it was this iconic moment that they went with, and it happened, and it’s what they did.”
The “Sweet Magnolias” actress even claimed the pair’s mom, Lynne, backed Britney’s then-controversial move.
“My mom was like, ‘It’s artistic, she’s expressing herself,’” she said.
Jamie Lynn also recalled looking as much as her pop star sister, saying, “Anything my sister did I at all times thought was the very best.”
“When it got here to my sister, even when I felt anything, if anyone said anything I used to be able to go. I used to be like, ‘Don’t speak about my sister, she’s the very best.’”
Sirieix kept the conversation going by asking Jamie Lynn, “Who became famous first?”
“My sister. She’s 10 years older,” she explained. “She was famous since I used to be about 6 or 7.”
Fellow contestant Frankie Dettori then entered the conversation to ask Jamie Lynn where she currently stands with the “Lucky” singer.
“I like my sister,” Jamie Lynn quickly replied.
The Post has contacted reps for Jamie Lynn and Britney for comment.
However it hasn’t been all love between the sisters lately.
Britney claimed in November 2021 that her family should “all be in jail” for allowing her 13-year conservatorship to go on for so long as it did.
Jamie Lynn also spoke at length about Britney in her 2022 book “Things I Should Have Said,” in a single instance, claiming of their childhood, Britney locked them each in a room with a knife because she was “scared.”
Britney denied her sister’s claim and slammed Jamie Lynn for attempting to “sell a book at my expense.”
