You’ll must work 9 to five to pay for this pie.
A Dollywood parkgoer has gone viral on TikTok for sharing the value of apple pie on the Tennessee amusement park, rocking some viewers to their core.
The five-second clip posted this week by user Stonewall Kelsey reveals the 25-pound apple pie sells for a whopping $229.
“I made a decision to post the video because I knew it will cause some controversy amongst the Dolly Parton fans,” Kelsey told The Post on Thursday.
“I didn’t actually get any of the pie but all the other concessions on the park were great so I’m sure the pie would have been definitely worth the $230!”
A single slice costs $19.99, based on the chalkboard signage on the Highlight Bakery that Kelsey captured during his visit.
The Post reached out to Dollywood reps for comment.
The apple pie at Dollywood is made with 35 apples, a sprinkle of cinnamon, butter and sugar, based on a 2018 post on Visit My Smokies, an internet site dedicated to vacationing within the Great Smoky Mountains, where the theme park is positioned.
The sweet treat is baked in a cast-iron skillet for about three hours and presented with an intricate lattice design, the outlet reported.
A person slice, which retailed for $18.99 in 2018, weighs 3 kilos, per VisitMySmokies.com. Your complete pie used to cost $189.99.
Fans were divided on the value as they weighed in on Kelsey’s clip.
“Does Dolly include it?” one user joked.
One other claimed: “Went to Dollywood last 12 months for the primary time and EVERYTHING IS WAAAAY OVER PRICED. For those who took $200 then you definately can afford a shirt and a bag of candy.”
“They might put Dolly on top of it and I wouldn’t want it for that type of money!!💯,” another person declared.
Others find the pie to be appeeling, despite the value.
“I mean..it’s 25 kilos to be fair,” one commenter identified. “A traditional one is 4ish.”
A second viewer insisted, “But in the event you get the pie you get to maintain the skillet and it’s a elaborate forged iron sooo.”
Parton opened Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, in 1986. A one-day ticket costs $89 for people between 10 and 61 years old.
In 2019, Delish sent journalist Tess Koman to Dollywood to taste all of their mouthwatering treats, and, after all, the apple pie made her list of faves.
“If I could return in time and swap my wedding cake out for this, that’s possibly something I’d consider,” she said, because the camera zoomed in on a forkful of the immense apple filling.
