Ryan Seacrest has vowed to maintain the wheel turning.
The newly-named “Wheel of Fortune” host, 48, recently discussed how he intends to run the show next yr after Pat Sajak, 76, steps down.
“With this game show, it’s so successful and has been for generations,” Seacrest told People at The iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on Friday.
“You don’t mess with it, just don’t mess with it,” he continued. “Just get out of the way in which, say ‘Good evening’ and let’s play.”
In June, shortly after Sajak announced his retirement after 41 seasons, Seacrest was named as his substitute.
Sajak is ready to complete out this season, after which Seacrest will take the helm, alongside the legendary letter-turner, Vanna White, 66.

“I believe I actually have a lot adrenaline rushing through my body,” Seacrest told People. “Excitement is the word since it’s such an exceptional show.”
“I’ve been a fan,” he continued. “I grew up watching the show and I can’t wait to take over after the legendary Pat Sajak.
The “American Idol” host even added that he felt like a “kid in a candy store,” excited by his upcoming hosting duties.

And, after a couple of long months of rumored negotiations between herself and the networks, it looks like White shall be coming back to her role on the show, alongside Seacrest this time.
In June, Puck News reported that White hadn’t received a raise in 18 years, and reportedly hired Hollywood powerhouse attorney Bryan Freedman to assist her negotiate a deal.
The outlet also reported that the star has been making $3 million per yr since 2005, while a 2016 report from Forbes alleged that Sajak cashes in a hefty $15 million a yr for the hosting gig.
Nonetheless, last week, it was announced that White had prolonged her contract through the 2026 season.
In accordance with TMZ, White got a “substantial pay increase” with the brand new deal.
Seacrest reacted happily to the news.
“That is such great news,” Seacrest, 48, told Willie Geist in a pre-taped sneak peek of “Sunday Today With Willie Geist,” which aired on TODAY Wednesday.“
“Vanna has been such a staple on that show and in our living rooms for therefore a few years,” he added. “I actually have been very excited to work together with her, but now that it’s official I can say, ‘Congratulations Vanna! I can’t wait.’”
