Hugh Hefner’s widow Crystal is baring all — but not in the identical way she has prior to now.
Hefner’s past paramour is about to inform all in regards to the “toxic objectification and misogyny” she endured while living within the famed Playboy Mansion.
Crystal Hefner, 37, admitted prior to now that she lied about her true feelings regarding the Playboy Mansion with a purpose to protect her late husband — but she is now determined to disclose the reality.
The Playboy model plans to achieve this in her recent memoir, “Only Say Good Things,” set to be released in January 2024.
Crystal was plucked from obscurity by Hefner within the mid-2000s when she was 21 and, despite a 60-year age gap, they went on to marry on Recent Yr’s Eve in 2012; they remained married until his death in 2017 at age 91.
Crystal vowed to speak about her “stolen” young maturity, plus the fact of being the infamous playboy’s “primary girlfriend.”
“Since his passing, I actually have needed to do a whole lot of self-discovery,” Crystal revealed in an interview with the Each day Mail. “I actually have had to search out out who I’m without it being dictated to me.
“I actually have needed to not only find my voice, but I also needed to learn find out how to use that voice,” she continued. “My book is a testament to the facility of time, processing all that I actually have been through and embracing my truth.”
The previous model, who quickly rose through the hierarchal Playboy Mansion ranks, said her late husband “surprised her” when he proposed, and he or she “couldn’t imagine refusing” his offer for her hand in marriage.
“My relationship and marriage to Hugh Hefner was a really complicated one,” she admitted. “It was one where, regardless of how I used to be treated, I at all times felt like I had to guard him, which is why I actually have not shared my story until now.”
Crysta has taken a “transformative journey” by which she is more comfortable in her own skin, with just easy hair and makeup — a far cry from her glammed-up Playboy days.
The model also slammed the cosmetic surgery industry after claiming she was poisoned by her breast implants, which she had removed in 2016.
”I advocate for being natural since I got very sick and removed my implants and all the things else toxic in my body in 2016,” she wrote in an Instagram post in 2021. “I must have learned my lesson the primary time but I suppose the universe keeps sending you an identical lesson until you learn it.”
Crystal isn’t the primary of the infamous Playboy founder’s former partners to talk out in regards to the realities of life within the Holmby Hills, California, mansion.
One other former girlfriend of Hefner’s, Holly Madison, claimed in a 2022 10-part A&E docuseries “Secrets of Playboy” that he was in possession of “all types of naked pictures’” of girls, alleging he kept them as blackmail.
Madison, who dated Hefner from 2001 to 2008, claimed she only remained with Hefner on the Playboy Mansion because she was frightened that he would publish the photos.
“His friends were at all times so supportive and speaking so highly of him,” the previous model said within the documentary, adding that nobody from outside the Mansion knew the “real” Hefner.
“Once I lived on the mansion, I used to be afraid to depart,” she admitted.
“Something that was at all times lingering at the back of my mind, I feel because the very starting, was that if I left there was just this mountain of revenge porn just waiting to come back out.”
