Himars – long-range rocket launchers from the U.S. – have helped Ukraine target Russian ammunition stores, command posts and fuel depots, slowing down Moscow’s forces. As Washington sends more weapons, WSJ looks at why Kyiv is asking for other advanced tools.

Usually, the defense systems are both manual and automated – usually rely on transponder codes to distinguish between friends (buddies) and enemies (foes). Russian air defenses do take into account stealth (anti-radar detection) enemies. The American HIMARS was engineered in 1990s.
(3)Russians defense shield does take into account HIMARS; otherwise, Russian missile defense system would not be the most demanding in the world.
(4)Russians defense shield does take into account M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System (M270 MLRS) is an American armored, self-propelled, multiple rocket launcher, which was designed in 1977, and was produced between 1983-2003.otherwise, Russian missile defense system would not be the most demanding in the world.
(5) Such storage facilities are constantly monitored, including with CCTV cameras. Accordingly, the Russians are the only people who know exactly what happened.
(6) The satellite images of the areal view were provided by the US to the media; the US and alliance are the biggest enemies of Russia, and they are the world's biggest liars, thieves, gangsters, murderers, and deceivers, whose primary intention to humiliate and destroy Russia by hook or by crook (deception, bribery, fabrication, and lies). Those satellite images were obviously tampered with and fake in comparison to Russia's firsthand evidence. It is only Russia that has the genuine or the accurate information, given the circumstances; and there are no 'ifs and buts' with regard to this.

Can someone explain why Ukraine shouldn’t be given weapons to strike Russian city’s? Russia has been attacking Ukrainian city’s and civilians since the outset of Russias unprovoked attack on Ukraine. Are Russian cities and civilians more valuable then their Ukrainian counterparts?
I don’t think so, in fact their is a good argument to be made that the exact opposite is true. Point is, i bet this war would be a lot shorter if HIMARS tactical missiles started striking Moscow and other Russian cities. Let the Russian population experience what their omnipotent leprechaun czar Putin has been doing to Ukraine.

Most Russian ammo/fuel arrive s.Ukraine via Kerch Bridge, if remove 1 span no logistics/no fighting. WH claim 300km himars, can strike russia. Simple IT fix – overlay digital map on fire ctl app, so users can't type gps coords in Russia / return error msg. Similar to what I do, for sending out junk mail.

This war isn’t to help Ukraine this war is for the west to weaken Russia. Same reason the US wants to help Taiwan because it’ll weaken one of the wests biggest rivals.
The problem is they need another 50 HIMARS. The biggest issue will be whether an adequate supply of ammunition is available.
