Pass the turkey — and the brand new baby!
Paris Hilton shared how she shocked her family with the introduction of her newborn daughter, London, on Thanksgiving.
The 42-year-old businesswoman, who welcomed London via surrogate together with her husband, Carter Reum, also 42, recalled the large reveal on “Live with Kelly and Mark” on Monday.
Hilton said that only her parents and younger sister Nicky knew the couple were expecting one other child — but they didn’t know when.
“It was before the turkey,” Hilton told married couple Kelly Ripa, 53, and Mark Consuelos, 52, concerning the announcement of London’s arrival.
“This was like around 5 o’clock at night, and Carter got everyone within the lounge,” she explained.
“He’s like, ‘Oh, I even have a surprise.’ Everyone thought like a magician was coming — like we now have a performer coming in.”
“So everyone’s all excited like, ‘Okay?’ after which I walk in only holding, like, a pink blanket with the child, and everybody is sitting there like, ‘What?’” Hilton recalled.
Hilton and Reum tied the knot in 2021.
They surprised the world — and even Paris’ mother, Kathy — once they welcomed their son, Phoenix, via surrogate in January.
Hilton also explained why she keeps the news of her children quiet until they’re born.
“I just feel like my life has been so public for over 20 years now, and I just wanted something simply to be, like, private between my husband and I, and to not have the entire world coming in and other people talking about my son before he was here, secure on this planet,” she said of Phoenix’s arrival.
Hilton told the world about London in an Instagram post Friday.
“Thankful for my baby girl,” she captioned a photograph of a pink onesie that displayed the kid’s moniker underneath a teddy bear and pink sunglasses.
