Ja Morant’s season is completed before it ever really got began.
The Grizzlies announced late Monday night that Morant was out for the season after he suffered a subluxation of his right shoulder during a training session on Saturday.
After an MRI exam was done on the Grizzlies star, it revealed an underlying labral tear.
Morant will undergo season-ending surgery and the team expects him to make a full recovery for next season.
He played in only nine games this season since coming back from a league suspension.
