Breaking news out of Surrey, B.C. – one of the two men to face trial for murder in connection with Canada’s largest mass killing before being acquitted – has been killed in what appears to be a targeted shooting. According to his family, Ripudaman Singh Malik was gunned down at a busy commercial complex. Minutes later, a burning car was found just a few blocks away. In 2000, Malik and Ajaib Singh Bagri were charged with 329 counts of first-degree murder for those aboard Air India Flight 182. The flight was brought down by a bomb on June 23, 1985, off the coast of Lockerbie, Scotland. Malik and Bagri were acquitted in 2005. Paul Johnson has more.

It makes sense it was obviously a drive by shooting then the shooter got out torched his own vehicle to destroy the licence plates to leave no trail.

If he truly was innocent, this is a further tragedy to add to that horrific event. Very sad.
As a senior, I'm glad to see the little ones have this shot available to them now. It's horrible to have a child struggling with an illness. I stayed by the side of one of my children as he struggled over night in hospital. He got through it, but I don;t wish these things on anyone. We went home the next day, but all night I woke up and helped him loosen his lungs.
I've had two vax shots and took the flu shot, which I rarely do. I am not around a lot of people usually, so don't feel the need for further boosters. Waiting to see what comes up for the variants. If I change my mind and or feel the need, I will not hesitate to take a booster. I've had worse reactions from from other vaccines and am not worried personally. If I have to do it due to working around vulnerable people, I won't hesitate to do so. In the mean time, I'll keep using PPE in crowded places and where staff are seeing a lot of people each day. One day at a time.
I do wish people would respect each others physical boundaries at at least an arms length all the time. This would make everyone feel ore at ease and it is just polite. I do it. It doesn't get you further faster, so relax. It;s very unpleasant having an anxious irritated fellow customer breathing down your neck in a Q or crushing you as they squeeze past you. I hope the pandemic has taught people that those things are not appreciated and has left that fundamental consideration for others as a positive impressed upon them.
The world is in such turmoil, and though not new, it seems like it will never end some days. Heartbreak. We need to be fighting the Climate Crisis, poverty and suffering not each other.
Neetu, your jacket is beautiful! You do a great job of the news. Thank you

Apparently not everyone agreed he was innocent. In the end someone had to pay the price.

The plane was not blown off Lockerbie but it was blown off the coast of Ireland (near Shannon). Please get this fact right. Lockerbie bombing was in 1988 and the airline that went down was
    Panam.

The fact that some people outside of Canada also disagree with forced injections is a loud statement. Global has no right to mock their freedom of choice by saying…"because they wouldn't take a shot" in such a snooty and derogatory tone.
