A pair’s post on Reddit has taken off — and lots of readers agree they were wronged by a pair of first-class jerks.
The posting details how a pair handled strangers who were sitting of their first-class seats — and social media users were within the wings applauding the couple for the way they managed the awkward situation.
Since being shared eight days ago, the post has gotten greater than 12,000 upvotes.
In a now-deleted post on the r/Delta subreddit, obtained by Newsweek, user Zealousideal-Host467 outlined how one other pair of flyers sat within the couple’s assigned seats — after which made them feel bad for asking them to maneuver.
The poster said that the 2 people, also a pair, moved seats to be closer to their friends and knew the seats they were sitting in didn’t belong to them — yet they didn’t need to move to their assigned spots.
The poster said the pair offered them their seats a row behind them, however the poster wasn’t having it.
“After I was confused, they said, ‘Oh, sorry, [we’re] within the fallacious seats, well you’ll be able to have our seats,’ which were a row behind, but I paid for and chosen the seats I wanted for a reason.”
The couple squatting the seats didn’t leave before giving the poster a high-altitude bad attitude.

People rallied behind the Redditor and agreed that the opposite travelers were those being rude.
“They’re fallacious. They are attempting to guilt you into switching. You will not be fallacious. You’ll be able to get a flight attendant involved,” one person said.
“I had someone do that in coach once. To be fair it wasn’t an accident, our boarding passes had the identical seat assignments (this was 30 years ago). “[Such as] when people don’t shut the toilet door or leave the toilet a multitude,” she said.
And should you thought flight attendants weren’t taking note of whether or not you wash your hands, you’re fallacious.
