It’s a historic end result for FanDuel, but not how they hoped.
FanDuel Sportsbook put together a “Popular Parlay” that had tens of hundreds of bettors and participants.
The four-leg parlay was of 4 players to attain a touchdown, consisting of Tony Pollard, CeeDee Lamb, Brandin Cooks and DK Metcalf, all to get ultimately zone.
The impressive parlay won with relative ease, with three of the important thing touchdowns being scored in the primary half.
When Pollard bumped into the top zone on a four-yard scamper on the second drive of the third quarter, it was over, and FanDuel had lost $13.4 million.
Metcalf had already scored two touchdowns at this point as he dominated cornerback DaRon Bland from start to complete.
The percentages got here in at +3919, good for a 2.49 percent probability implied of the bet actually winning.
Betting on the NFL?
Cooks got into the top zone as well, scoring a touchdown early within the second quarter, while Lamb and Metcalf scored in the primary.
This isn’t the primary time that the sportsbook was caught on a house-made bet at massive odds.
The FanDuel was nailed for a $20 million loss in September when every team kicked a field goal through the Sunday 1 o’clock, 4 o’clock, and 4:25 p.m. ET. windows during Week 2 of the NFL season.
