The European Commission has urged countries across the bloc to cut their gas use by 15% from August to March amid fears Russia could halt supplies, saying the target is voluntary but will become legally binding if Moscow turns off the taps this summer.

Since Russia invaded Ukraine it has cut supplies to a number of countries which have rejected its demand for payment for gas in roubles, including Poland, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Denmark and Finland.

Did moronic puppet politicians, policy makers and various advisers in NATO and EU not predict or see this coming before engaging in a proxy military conflict with the russian federation? I suspect they knew what it would lead to i.e gas being cut off by russia and cost of living crisis happening. It's all predictable and seemingly pre-planned agenda to make the global middle and working classes poorer. Strange very strange 😏

    Free water for Italy

    https://freewaterfortheworld.blogspot.com/2022/07/free-water-for-italy.html

Ciao Italia, come stai oggi? Ti regaliamo un sacco di acqua fresca gratis!

We are not limited to natural rain fall: that is the defective Roman thinking, which cannot use it to the fourth of the Roman empire. It is embarrassingly easy to use it use pressure to cause liquid water to boil. It will even cause I is to turn directly into water vapour.

We use a little 20 W solar driven vacuum pump, to suck up seawater by one metre. It then boils into fresh water vapour. That is 1000 times easier to pump than liquid water.

So we transported on 1000 metres inshore. We can have a little chain of pumps, to transport the water vapour to above the Italian lakes. So we can refill Lake Como etc.

    Reduce and Rejoice !!
At last we , the rich countries of Europe are being forced to confront the error of our profligate use of fossil fuels .
Perversely Putin 's weaponising of our energy procurement will actually force us to accelerate our implementation of measures already required to comply with our promises to mitigate the effects of anthropogenic climate change by reducing our emissions , switching to renewables and insulating our homes .
The lessons to be learned from this barbaric war of Putin's are that democratic freedom has no price cap and that we can overcome anything if we are united and logical in our approach by turning adversiry into opportunity .
Understand that through this misfortune we are accelerating the change and ultimately we will benefit , so rejoice !!

I think only people from EU/NATO/AUKUS countries plus Japan and South Korea are the only ones that actually buy the whole "fight for democracy/freedom" rhetoric. That has to be some kind of indication as to the effectiveness of the propaganda in the EU/NATO-aligned countries.

Most people in Latin America, Africa, and Asia don't buy that. That rhetoric has been used A LOT by Europeans/US/NATO to justify the pillaging and invasions of those countries… It's an old story that's been seen before many many times. And, it's visible in that almost no countries in those regions are jumping on board this "fight for democracy."

And, the whole sanctimonious unilateral sanctioning thing is getting old, many countries are looking to trade with other currencies, replacing the US dollar and euro as the default trade currencies precisely because they're tired of the power the EU/US loves to lord over them from the use of their currencies: this is bad news for those currencies and the blackmailing power that said countries have over the rest of the world. Already, some EU countries and many other private companies in the EU have capitulated to paying for Russian gas/oil in rubles, for example.

I've never heard of plans to invade Saudi Arabia, Bahrein, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, or Latin American, African, or Asian countries when they had pro-U.S. or pro-European dictatorships, VERY "UNDEMOCRATIC" and BRUTAL dictatorships… It's never been about "democracy/freedom," do you seriously believe that?

In fact, the common sentiment in those countries is passively in favor of Russia. The EU has lost a lot of "prestige/respect" in those regions as it's clear how blatantly obvious Europe is submissive/vassal to the US.

In Latin America, there's a saying: "The U.S. does not have allies, it has interests," and clearly the U.S. is meeting many of its interests: breaking Europe economically and politically from Russia, selling more U.S. hydrocarbons (expanding its market), militarizing Europe (and making them pay for it) in targeting Russia, having more US soldiers on European soil, debilitating Europe in its industrial capacity in order to make them more reliant on U.S. industrial goods, imposing a crippling war debt on Ukraine (geez, I wonder what they'll get in return when Ukraine obviously won't be able to pay it back after the war), and now they're really trying to drag Europe into the China/Taiwan mess (for "democracy" of course)…etc..

Let's face it, Europe has become a vassal of U.S. interests, but because Europeans are so arrogant and Russophobic and seriously believe the U.S. to be their BFF, they're still in denial…
