Johnny Knoxville is likely to be getting an indignant phone call from Mike White.
After the dramatic Season 2 finale of “The White Lotus,” fans have been anxiously waiting for the situation of Season 3 to be announced.
Season 1 of the show took fans to Hawaii, filmed on the 4 Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, while Season 2 brought us in a foreign country to Sicily, filmed on the 4 Seasons San Domenico Palace within the town of Taormina.
In a recent interview with Vulture, Knoxville, 51, may need by accident let slip where the following season will happen when talking about his friendship with show creator Mike White, 52.
“Mike White is a really close friend of mine. He and I had been in Tokyo together,” he shared “I feel that’s where the following…Oh, I’m not giving anything away.”
“I would call him again as soon as that is over,” Knoxville added.
Before TVLine confirmed the renewal of the HBO Max show that follows guests and employees of the fictional hotel chain White Lotus, White was already fascinated with where the following location can be — and hinted at Asia.
“I feel it’d be fun to perhaps go to an entire different continent. , we did Europe, and perhaps Asia, something crazy like that, that might be fun,” he told Deadline in October 2022.
The “Survivor” alum teased more on the potential Season 3 spot in December 2022 within the HBO Max “Unpacking S2 E7” special.
“The primary season sort of highlighted money, after which the second season is sex,” White said. “I feel the third season can be perhaps a satirical and funny have a look at death and Eastern religion and spirituality.
