A 14-year-old rider and two horses were killed after a vehicle slammed right into a trio of teens each riding a stolen horse in Texas, authorities said.
The fatal, early morning collision occurred near Great Trinity Forest and Julius Schepps Freeway in Dallas, police said.
The 14-year-old and one among the horses were pronounced dead on the scene.
One other horse was euthanized by a veterinarian on the crash site, based on authorities.
A 16-year-old and 17-year-old were each taken to the hospital with injuries, but are in stable condition.
The third horse involved was injured, but is anticipated to survive, police said.
The fatal incident happened around 5:30 a.m. when the teenagers were each allegedly riding a horse that was stolen, cops said.
The driving force will not be expected to be charged and remained on the scene following the crash.
Further information in regards to the teens was not revealed by authorities.
The investigation is ongoing.
