American corporations – bad news
Had a buddy from the UK go on and on about the Costco near him and I'm hyped about it
American style that's cool
Its a lot bugger than anything we have in New Zuland. Hilarious accent.
We have one here in Adelaide. As Kiwi's we tend to shop big for food stuffs. You have to pay for a monthly membership which is not cool and unless you shop regularly with Costco it is not worth it. If you run a company where you buy lots of food in bulk it is worth it. The meat and seafood is wel priced, great quality and fresh. Sometimes other reandom things are worth buying spontainously. We stopped after a few years as the savings we ad were almost the same as he membership.
The last thing we need is more STUFF
We have a Costco about a mile and a half from our home in West London and we're members, we don't have any kind of payment for membership, however that could be because our membership "qualification" was that we're retired from the Metropolitan Police.
We're coming to NZ in the new year for a holiday and will be largely self catering. It would be interesting to know if our membership card would be valid in NZ.
Well, is this expected to take down the warehouse!
I don’t want this to take over our home retailers but it would be cool to see it expand past Auckland
