Essex Crossing, the thriving mixed-use complex near the foot of the Williamsburg Bridge, has apartments, offices, shops, restaurants, a movie show and a photography museum. Soon it should have a climbing gym, too.
VITAL, which has three locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn, signed a lease for 45,000 square feet at 182 Broome St.
It can move into the vacant space in spring 2024 and offer instruction in climbing, bouldering, yoga, cycling and weightlifting.
