She got into their heads first — after which their hearts.
Bachelorette Charity Lawson has her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling — which she said gave her a leg up when it got here to dating 25 men at one time.
“It definitely helps me navigate … those necessary conversations, but additionally searching for those behaviors which will show up either as green flags or red flags,” the Georgia native told The Post.
When the leading lady — who looked for a soulmate on Season 20 of the ABC dating series, which premieres on Monday — was asked by producers what she was searching for in a partner, she described a person with a piece ethic that matched her own.
“I definitely said profession … ambition,” Lawson, 27, said.
She got what she wished for because there have been a bunch of brainy men vying for her heart — with professions corresponding to biomedical scientist, physician, attorney, and data scientist, and one other getting his graduate degree from Harvard.
“Yeah, all great careers, incredibly successful, which is great,” she said. So … that stability piece.”
The Auburn University graduate was a contestant on the last season of “The Bachelor” and was within the leading man Zach Shallcross‘ final 4, but then was eliminated the next week.
Before she joined the franchise, she had 1,200 Instagram followers — but after her television debut, she watched her amount of fans drastically increase.
“Number-wise, it’s insane. Middle of Zach’s season, I used to be possibly at like 30K, and once I used to be announced because the Bachelorette it just continued to extend,” said Lawson, who now has 110,000 followers on the platform.
One other thing that surprised the truth star was the quantity of warmth the Bachelor Mansion generated — and it wasn’t just from the new make-out sessions.
“There are such a lot of fireplaces,” she said. “And I’m like, ‘Why are there so many?’ Like greater than you may probably imagine.”
