An Australian influencer believes a European summer holiday isn’t all its cracked as much as be, revealing she was “dying to go home” after three months of traveling.
OnlyFans star and frequent traveler Mikaela Testa wanted her followers to know what they’re seeing on their social media feeds isn’t the truth.
In a viral TikTok, Testa told those that couldn’t be in Europe for the northern summer to not be sad about it.
“It isn’t all it’s cracked as much as be,” she said from Capri, Italy.
Testa complained concerning the amount of walking required up steep steps to get around, the warmth and missing her own bed.
“Influencers come to those locations and make them look so amazing and so pretty and so photogenic and so amazing, but half of it’s edited and filtered and just not real,” she said.
“It takes all the day to walk to a location you must go.”
Testa said she had hardly seen anyone mentioning the negatives of traveling Europe.
“It’s been three months. We’re just dying to go home at this point,” she continued.
“We’re just hating. We’re being negative. You simply get to some extent in life where you only begin to hate every part around you, and you only need something stable like my very own bed and my very own TV and my cats.”
It wasn’t all negative, Testa said a lemon crammed with sorbet was “the perfect thing” she’d eaten and if she was to “hassle coming back”, she would have “one million” of them.
She also said Italian men gave the look of the perfect men on this planet.
“I actually have never desired to marry an ethnicity so bad,” she said.
Some TikTok users agreed there was such thing as traveling too long, but many couldn’t consider what they were hearing.
“Seeing someone hate ur [your] dream life is just soul crushing,” one wrote.
“I might die to give you the option to travel that much,” one other said.
“But you’re from Australia, don’t be unfair,” a 3rd added.
“Girl it’s good to be more grateful for the position you might be in, most would die to be you,” wrote a fourth.
Some described the video as “infuriating” and told her to go away.
“Because of this Europeans hate Americans and Australians on holiday,” one said.
“You spend half the yr in Europe and have the cheek to call it overrated,” wrote one other.
“I swear influencers come to Europe simply to complain,” another person added.
Travellers who had been to Capri themselves shared more positive reviews.
“I believed Capri was stunning. Literally one of the vital beautiful places I’ve been. Loved walking around it,” one person said.
“However it is so pretty there. Try to understand it when your there cause once you look back, you realise how amazing it really was,” one other suggested.
