Andy Cohen knows the archetype he likes most for the “Real Housewives” franchise.
The 55-year-old “Watch What Happens Live” host is keen on recruiting a certain royal for the hit Bravo reality series.
During a panel discussion at BravoCon 2023, Cohen didn’t mince his words when asked who’d he’d like to see casted on an all-new “Real Housewives” spinoff.
“If we are able to get Meghan Markle,” he declared. “That may be interesting.”
Markle, 42, and her hubby Prince Harry, 39 have lived in a nine-bedroom, $14 million mansion in Montecito, California since 2020 after being exiled from the royal family earlier that yr.
Cohen is clearly a fan of the Duchess of Sussex. Not only was he a guest on her Spotify podcast “Archetypes,” but he also got here to her defense when rumors swirled that Markle didn’t actually interview her guests herself and as an alternative only got here in later to record voiceovers to make it appear as if she was there.
Cohen called the story “insane.”

Cohen also said Markle was “quite well-researched,” “well-informed,” and “thoughtful.”
Along with Cohen, Markle interviewed Mariah Carey, Paris Hilton, Issa Rae, Mindy Kaling, Serena Williams, Constance Wu and a plethora of other luminaries throughout the show’s 12 episodes before the $20 million cope with Spotify fell through, causing the podcast to not be renewed for Season 2.
