This week, The Post exclusively confirmed that Kim Cattrall, 66, can be returning to this season of the “Sex and the City” reboot, “And Just Like That…” to reprise her role as the enduring publicist Samantha Jones in a cameo appearance.
And, it seems that among the solid members are looking forward to the addition.
“I believe it’s great. I do,” Evan Handler, who plays the husband of character Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) told People on Saturday.
He continued, “Apparently, [her cameo] was shot within the garage somewhere with no contact with anybody, so the one place I even have to welcome her is into my lounge when it airs on television.”
The spinoff premiered on HBO Max, now generally known as Max, in December 2021, and the second season is slated for June 22.
Sources told The Post that Cattrall’s cameo didn’t leave a paper trail, as they didn’t want others who worked on the show to study it – her name not even appearing on a call sheet.
“The undeniable fact that they’re keeping it very hush-hush says that there’s some implication that she could be coming back — not this season, nevertheless it’s definitely a cliffhanger that’s gonna get people to return back for Season 3,” an insider told The Post about Cattrall’s cameo.
Cattrall looked as if it would hint at the looks on social media after the news broke, reposting a photograph of Variety’s article about her return.
Her cameo comes after her alleged feud along with her fellow costars a number of years ago.
